एतेषान्तु कुमाराणां कन्यानां द्विजसत्तम । अष्टत्रिंशदपत्यानि तेषां नामानि मे शृणु ॥

Translation

ఓ ద్విజశ్రేష్ఠా! ఈ కన్యలకు ముప్పై ఎనిమిది ‘సంతానం’ (ఉద్భవ రూపాలు/ఫలితాలు) ఉన్నాయి. వాటి పేర్లు నన్ను నుండి విను.
