शतरूपाञ्च तां नारीं तपोनिर्धूतकल्मषाम् ।

स्वायम्भुवो मनुर्देवः पत्नीत्वे जगृहे विभुः ॥

Transliteration

śatarūpāṃ ca tāṃ nārīṃ taponirdhūtakalmaṣām | svāyambhuvo manur devaḥ patnītve jagṛhe vibhuḥ ||

Translation

ఆ పరాక్రమశాలి స్వాయంభువ మనువు, తపస్సుతో కల్మషాలు దగ్ధమైన ఆ శతరూపా స్త్రీని భార్యగా స్వీకరించాడు।
