ततस्ताः पर्यग्वह्णन्त नदीक्षेत्राणि पर्वतान् ।

वृक्षगुल्मौषधीश्चैवमात्मन्यायाद्यथाबलम् ॥

Transliteration

tatas tāḥ paryagvahṇanta nadī-kṣetrāṇi parvatān /

vṛkṣa-gulmauṣadhīś caivam ātmanyāyād yathābalam //

Translation

అప్పుడు వారు తమ తమ శక్తి మేరకు నదులు, పొలాలు, పర్వతాలు, అలాగే చెట్లు, పొదలు, ఔషధులను కూడా ‘ఇది నా దే’ అని చెప్పుకుంటూ అపహరించసాగారు।
