samudā garbhasalilaṃ tasyāṇḍasya mahātmanaḥ | tasminn aṇḍe jagat sarvaṃ sadevāsuramānuṣam

Translation

సముద్రములు ఆ మహాండమునకు గర్భజలములై యుండెను. ఆ అండములో దేవులు, అసురులు, మనుష్యులతో కూడిన సమస్త జగత్తు నిలిచి యుండెను.
