Adhyaya 14 — The Messenger of Yama Explains Karmic Retribution and the Causes of Naraka Torments
वैदर्भो तव या पत्नी पीवरी नाम नामतः ।
ऋतुमत्याः ऋतुर्वन्ध्यस्त्वया तस्याः कृतः पुरा ॥
vaidarbho tava yā patnī pīvarī nāma nāmataḥ / ṛtumatyā ṛturvandhyastvayā tasyāḥ kṛtaḥ purā
విదర్భదేశానికి చెందిన నీ భార్య పీవరీ—ఆమె ఋతుమతిగా ఉన్నప్పుడు—నీవు పూర్వం ఆమె ఋతువును భంగపరచి ఆమెను ‘ఋతుబంధ్య’గా చేసితివి।
