वैशम्पायन उवाच परिहासेप्सया वाकक्‍्यं विराटस्य निशम्य तत्‌ | स्मयमानोडर्जुनो राजन्निदं वचनमत्रवीत्‌

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | parihāsepsayā vākyam virāṭasya niśamya tat | smayamāno 'rjuno rājan idaṁ vacanam abravīt ||

Translation

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—ఓ రాజా! విరాటుని ఆ మాటలు పరिहासాభిప్రాయంతో పలికినవని విని, అర్జునుడు చిరునవ్వుతో ఈ విధంగా పలికెను।
