एते ज्वलन्तः संग्रामे तेजसा शीघ्रगामिन: । भवन्ति वीरस्याक्षय्या व्यूहत: समरे रिपून्,ये युद्धमें तेजसे प्रकाशित होकर बड़ी तेजीसे शत्रुपर आघात करते हैं। रणमें शत्रुओंपर बाणवर्षा करनेवाले वीरके लिये भी इन बाणोंका काटना असम्भव है
ete jvalantaḥ saṅgrāme tejasā śīghragāminaḥ | bhavanti vīrasyākṣayyā vyūhataḥ samare ripūn ||
ఈ బాణాలు యుద్ధంలో తేజస్సుతో జ్వలించి మహావేగంగా దూసుకుపోతాయి. ఒక వీరుడు వ్యూహాన్ని ఏర్పరచి సమరంలో శత్రువులపై దాడి చేసినప్పుడు, ఇవి అతనికి అక్షయమవుతాయి; శత్రువులు వీటిని కోయలేరు, తట్టుకోలేరు.
