Virāṭa Rescued from Suśarmā; Night Battle and Royal Gratitude (विराटमोक्षणं सुशर्मवधाभिमुखं च)
संरब्धा: समरे राजन् निजघ्नुरितरेतरम् | निधघ्नन्त: समरे<न्योन्यं शूरा: परिघबाहव:
saṃrabdhāḥ samare rājan nijaghnur itaretaram | nidhaghnantaḥ samare 'nyonyaṃ śūrāḥ parighabāhavaḥ ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—రాజా! సమరంలో కోపావేశంతో ఉద్ధృతులై ఆ వీరులు పరస్పరం ఒకరినొకరు కూల్చుతున్నారు. పరీఘంలాంటి బలమైన భుజాలు గల శూరులు యుద్ధంలో ఒకరినొకరు నిరంతరం ప్రహరిస్తూనే ఉన్నారు.
