Virāṭa Rescued from Suśarmā; Night Battle and Royal Gratitude (विराटमोक्षणं सुशर्मवधाभिमुखं च)
सादिन: सादिभिश्लैव गजैश्लापि महागजा: । असिश्रि: पट्टिशै: प्रासै: शक्तिभिस्तोमरैरपि
sādinaḥ sādibhiś caiva gajaiś cāpi mahāgajāḥ | asiśriḥ paṭṭiśaiḥ prāsaiḥ śaktibhis tomarair api ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—అశ్వారోహులు అశ్వారోహులతో, మహాగజాలు మహాగజాలతో ఢీకొన్నాయి. ఖడ్గ-ఖేటధారులు, పట్టిశ, ప్రాస, శక్తి, తోమర ఆయుధధారులతో కూడ ఎదురెదురుగా నిలిచారు; అలా అనేకాయుధాల సమబల సమరం ఉద్ధృతమైంది.
