Draupadī–Bhīmasena Dialogue on Suffering, Kāla, and Daiva
स्प्रष्ट रा जसहस्राणि तेजसाप्रतिमानि वै | समरे नाभ्यवर्तन्त वेलामिव महार्णव:,जैसे महासागर तट सीमाको नहीं लाँघ पाता, उसी प्रकार सहस्रों अप्रतिम तेजवाले राजा जिस वीरको वशीभूत करनेके लिये आगे न बढ़ सके, वही तरुण अर्जुन इस समय राजा विराटकी कन्याओंको नाचना सिखा रहा है और हीजड़ेके वेषमें छिपकर उन कन्याओंकी सेवा करता है
spraṣṭrājasahasrāṇi tejasāpratimāni vai | samare nābhyavartanta velām iva mahārṇavaḥ ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—యుద్ధంలో అపరిమిత తేజస్సుగల వేలాది రాజులు కూడా ఆ వీరుని ఎదురుగా ముందుకు సాగలేకపోయిరి; మహాసముద్రము తీరరేఖను దాటలేనట్లు. కాని ఆ యువ అర్జునుడు ఇప్పుడు నపుంసక వేషములో దాగి, రాజు విరాటుని కుమార్తెలకు నాట్యం నేర్పుచు వారి సేవ చేయుచున్నాడు.
