Educational Q&A

The verse highlights disciplined use of power: even a divine weapon is to be handled with precise instruction and restraint (drawing only to the proper measure), reflecting ethical control over martial capability.

Lomaśa narrates a scene where an implement has been readied; then Paraśurāma (Rāma Jāmadagnya) bestows a divine arrow and instructs that it be drawn to full draw—up to the ear—signaling readiness and mastery in archery.
