ततो जग्राह रोषेण क्षत्रियर्षभसूदनम्‌ । रामो दाशरअथिर्दिव्यं हस्तादू रामस्य कार्मुकम्‌,तब दशरथनन्दन श्रीरामजीने रोषपूर्वक परशुरामका वह वीर क्षत्रियोंका संहारक दिव्य धनुष उनके हाथसे ले लिया। भारत! उन्होंने लीलापूर्वक प्रत्यज्चा चढ़ा दी। तत्पश्चात्‌ पराक्रमी श्रीरामचन्द्रजीने मुसकराते हुए धनुषकी टंकार फैलायी

tato jagrāha roṣeṇa kṣatriyarṣabhasūdanam | rāmo dāśarathir divyaṃ hastād rāmasya kārmukam ||

అప్పుడు దశరథనందనుడు శ్రీరాముడు కోపంతో పరశురాముని చేతిలోనుండి ఆ దివ్య ధనుస్సును—వీర క్షత్రియులను సంహరించినదాన్ని—తీసుకున్నాడు.
