प्रत्युवाच ततो5गस्त्य: प्रहसन्निल्चलं तदा । ईशं हासुर विद्मस्त्वां वयं सर्वे धनेश्वरम्,तब महर्षि अगस्त्यने हँ-कर इल्वलसे कहा--“असुर! हम सब लोग तुम्हें शक्तिशाली शासक एवं धनका स्वामी समझते हैं
pratyuvāca tato ’gastyaḥ prahasan niścalaṃ tadā | īśaṃ hāsura vidmās tvāṃ vayaṃ sarve dhaneśvaram ||
అప్పుడు అగస్త్య మహర్షి చిరునవ్వుతో ఇల్వలుని ఉద్దేశించి అన్నాడు—“ఓ అసురా! మేమందరం నిన్ను శక్తిమంతుడైన పాలకుడిగా, ధనాధిపతిగా తెలుసు.”
