ऋषिर्महान् महा भागो जमदग्निर्महायशा: । पलाशकेषु पुण्येषु रम्येष्वयजत प्रभु:,महाभाग, महायशस्वी और महाप्रभावशाली महर्षि जमदग्निने परम सुन्दर तथा पुण्यप्रद पलाशवनमें यज्ञ किया था
ṛṣir mahān mahābhāgo jamadagnir mahāyaśāḥ | palāśakeṣu puṇyeṣu ramyeṣv ayajata prabhuḥ ||
ధౌమ్యుడు పలికెను—మహాభాగ్యశాలి, మహాయశస్సుగల, మహాప్రభావశాలి మహర్షి జమదగ్ని పుణ్యమయమైన, రమ్యమైన పలాశ వనాలలో యజ్ఞాన్ని ఆచరించాడు.
