अध्याय ९० — लोमशोपदेशः तथा तीर्थयात्रानिश्चयः
Lomaśa’s Counsel and the Resolve for Pilgrimage
समेत्य बहुशो देवा: सेन्द्रा: सवरुणा: पुरा । विशाखयूपे5तप्यन्त तेन पुण्यतमश्न सः,पूर्वकालमें इन्द्र, वरुण आदि बहुत-से देवताओंने मिलकर विशाखयूप नामक स्थानमें तप किया था, अतः वह अत्यन्त पुण्यप्रद स्थान है
sametya bahuśo devāḥ sendrāḥ savaruṇāḥ purā | viśākhayūpe 'tapyanta tena puṇyatamaś ca saḥ ||
ధౌమ్యుడు పలికెను—పూర్వకాలంలో ఇంద్రుడు, వరుణుడు మొదలైన అనేక దేవతలు పదేపదే సమవేతులై ‘విశాఖయూప’ అనే స్థలంలో తపస్సు చేశారు. అందుచేత ఆ స్థలం పరమ పవిత్రమై మహాపుణ్యప్రదమైనది.
