हि आय न चुके है सप्तचत्वारिशो<्ध्याय: लोमश मुनिका स्वर्गमें इन्द्र और अर्जुनसे मिलकर उनका संदेश ले काम्यकवनमें आना वैशम्पायन उवाच कदाचिदटमानस्तु महर्षिरुत लोमश: । जगाम शक्रभवन पुरन्दरदिदृक्षया

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: kadācid aṭamānas tu maharṣir uta Lomaśaḥ | jagāma Śakra-bhavanaṃ Purandara-didṛkṣayā ||

Translation

వైశంపాయనుడు చెప్పెను—ఒకసారి తీర్థయాత్రలో సంచరిస్తున్న మహర్షి లోమశుడు, పురందరుడు (ఇంద్రుడు) దర్శనాభిలాషతో శక్రుని భవనమైన స్వర్గలోకానికి వెళ్లెను.
