न मे स्थादपराधो5यं महादेवातिसाहसात् | कृतो मयायमज्ञानाद विमर्दो यस्त्वया सह | शरणं प्रतिपन्नाय तत् क्षमस्वाद्य शंकर
Arjuna uvāca |
na me stād aparādho 'yaṁ mahādevātisāhasāt |
kṛto mayāyam ajñānād vimardo yas tvayā saha |
śaraṇaṁ pratipannāya tat kṣamasvādya śaṅkara ||
మహాదేవుని పట్ల చేసిన ఈ అతిసాహసపు అపరాధం నాపై నిలవకూడదు. అజ్ఞానవశాత్తు నేను నీతో ఈ ఘర్షణకు దిగితిని. శంకరా, ఇప్పుడు శరణు పొందిన నన్ను దయచేసి నేడు క్షమించుము.
