तमब्रवीत् कुन्तिभोज: प्रीतियुक्तमिदं वच: । एवमस्तु परं चेति पुनश्चैनमथाब्रवीत्,तब राजा कुन्तिभोजने बड़ी प्रसन्नताके साथ उत्तर दिया--“विप्रवर! “एवमस्तु'--जैसा आप चाहते हैं, वैसा ही होगा“, इतना कहकर वे फिर बोले--
tam abravīt kuntibhojaḥ prītiyuktam idaṃ vacaḥ | evam astu paraṃ ceti punaś cainam athābravīt |
వైశంపాయనుడు చెప్పెను— అప్పుడు కుంతిభోజుడు ప్రీతితో ఇలా పలికెను— “ఏవమస్తు— మీరు కోరినట్లే జరుగుగాక; అంతే.” అని చెప్పి, అతనిని మరల సంభోదించెను—
