त्वद्दर्शनमभिप्रेप्सुरिह प्राप्तो विहायसा । राजपुत्रौ कुशलिनौ भ्रातरौ रामलक्ष्मणौ,“आपके दर्शनके लिये मैं आकाशमार्गसे यहाँ आया हूँ। दोनों भाई राजकुमार श्रीराम और लक्ष्मण कुशलसे हैं
tvaddarśanam abhiprepsur iha prāpto vihāyasā | rājaputrau kuśalinau bhrātarau rāma-lakṣmaṇau ||
“మీ దర్శనం పొందాలనే ఆకాంక్షతో నేను ఆకాశమార్గంగా ఇక్కడికి వచ్చాను. రాజకుమారులైన ఆ ఇద్దరు సోదరులు—రామలక్ష్మణులు—క్షేమంగా ఉన్నారు.”
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
The verse highlights reverent seeking of darśana (a meaningful audience) and the ethical value of conveying auspicious news—affirming the well-being of righteous figures as a source of reassurance and moral orientation.
Markandeya reports that he has arrived by an aerial route specifically to meet the listener, and he conveys that the royal brothers Rama and Lakshmana are doing well, linking the present conversation to the Ramayana-related narrative context.
