यदास्य वदतो वाक्य न स चक्रे द्विजोत्तम: | वालुकाभिस्तत: शक्रो गड़ां समभिपूरयन्,द्विजश्रेष्ठ यवक्रीतने जब इन्द्रका कहना नहीं माना, तब वे बालूसे गंगाजीको भरने लगे
yadāsya vadato vākyaṁ na sa cakre dvijottamaḥ | vālukābhis tataḥ śakro gaḍāṁ samabhipūrayan ||
ఆ ద్విజోత్తముడు చెప్పిన మాటను అనుసరించకపోయినప్పుడు, శక్రుడు (ఇంద్రుడు) ఇసుకతో కలశాన్ని నింపడం ప్రారంభించాడు.
