Kirmīra-rākṣasa-saṃgamaḥ (Encounter and Slaying of Kirmīra) | किर्मीरेण सह भीमसेनसमागमः
द्यौश्न ते शिरसा व्याप्ता पद्धयां च पृथिवी प्रभो । जठरं त इमे लोका: पुरुषोडसि सनातन:,प्रभो! स्वर्गलोेक आपके मस्तकसे और पृथ्वी आपके चरणोंसे व्याप्त है। ये सब लोक आपके उदरस्वरूप हैं। आप सनातन पुरुष हैं
dyauḥ te śirasā vyāptā padbhyāṃ ca pṛthivī prabho | jaṭharaṃ te ime lokāḥ puruṣo 'si sanātanaḥ ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను— ప్రభూ! స్వర్గం మీ శిరస్సుతో, భూమి మీ పాదాలతో వ్యాపించియున్నది. ఈ సమస్త లోకాలు మీ ఉదరస్వరూపమే. మీరు సనాతన పురుషుడు.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse teaches a vision of the divine as the all-pervading cosmic Person: heaven, earth, and all worlds are contained within Him. Ethically, it supports dharma by encouraging humility, reverence, and responsibility—since harming beings or violating order is, in effect, acting against the very body of the cosmic reality.
Vaiśampāyana narrates a hymn-like description addressed to a supreme Lord, portraying Him in cosmic dimensions—head as heaven, feet as earth, and the worlds as His belly—thereby elevating the scene into a moment of theological recognition and praise.
