Kirmīra-rākṣasa-saṃgamaḥ (Encounter and Slaying of Kirmīra) | किर्मीरेण सह भीमसेनसमागमः

तमभिद्र॒त्य संक्रुद्धो वेगेन महता बली । अग॒ह्नात्‌ पाणिना पार्णिं भीमसेनस्य राक्षस:,क्रोधमें भरे हुए उस बलवान राक्षसने बड़े वेगसे निकट जाकर अपने हाथसे भीमसेनका हाथ पकड़ लिया। भीमसेनके हाथका स्पर्श इन्द्रके वज्रके समान था। उनका शरीर भी वैसा ही सुदृढ़ था। राक्षसने भीमसेनसे भिड़कर उनके हाथको सहसा झटक दिया

tam abhidrutya saṅkruddho vegena mahatā balī | agahnāt pāṇinā pāṇiṃ bhīmasenasya rākṣasaḥ ||

క్రోధంతో ఉవ్విళ్లూరిన ఆ బలవంతుడైన రాక్షసుడు మహావేగంతో దూసుకొచ్చి తన చేతితో భీమసేనుని చేతిని పట్టుకున్నాడు.
