सर्व जगदिदं तात विदितं ते परंतप । दिष्ट्या कृच्छुमिदं राजन्‌ पारितं भरतर्षभ

Transliteration

sarva jagad idaṃ tāta viditaṃ te parantapa | diṣṭyā kṛcchum idaṃ rājan pāritaṃ bharatarṣabha ||

Translation

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—తాత! పరంతపా! ఈ సమస్త జగత్తు యొక్క తత్త్వం నీకు తెలిసినదే. ఓ రాజా, భరతశ్రేష్ఠా! ఈ ఘోర సంకటాన్ని నీవు దాటివచ్చినది మహాభాగ్యం.
