तथा तमनुधावन्तं मृगयुं शकुनार्थिनम् । आश्रमस्थो मुनि: कश्रिद् ददर्शाथ कृताह्विक:
tathā tam anudhāvantaṃ mṛgayuṃ śakunārthinam | āśramastho muniḥ kaścid dadarśātha kṛtāhvikaḥ ||
అదే సమయంలో, ఆశ్రమంలో నివసించే ఒక ముని—సంధ్యావందనం మొదలైన నిత్యకర్మలు ముగించి—పక్షులను పట్టుకోవాలనే ఆశతో పరుగెత్తుతున్న ఆ వేటగాడిని చూశాడు.
