Udyoga Parva 63: Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Counsel Reminding Duryodhana of Opponent Strength
उस जालमें दो ऐसे पक्षी फँस गये, जो सदा साथ-साथ उड़ने और विचरनेवाले थे। वे दोनों पक्षी उस समय उस जालको लेकर आकाशमें उड़ चले ।।
tau vihāyasam ākrāntau dṛṣṭvā vai śākuniḥ tadā | anvadhāvad anirviṇṇo yena yena sama gacchataḥ ||
ఒకే వలలో చిక్కిన, ఎల్లప్పుడూ కలిసి ఎగిరే ఆ రెండు పక్షులు ఆ వలనే మోసుకొని ఆకాశంలోకి ఎగిరిపోయాయి. వాటిని ఆకాశంలో ఎగిరిపోతూ చూసినా పక్షివేటగాడు నిరుత్సాహపడలేదు; అవి ఎటెట్లా కలిసి వెళ్లాయో, అటెట్లా అతడు అలసట లేకుండా వెంబడిస్తూ పరుగెత్తాడు.
