संजय उवाच संजयो<हं भूमिपते नमस्ते प्राप्तोडस्मि गत्वा नरदेव पाण्डवान्‌ | अभिवाद्य त्वां पाण्डुपुत्रो मनस्वी युधिष्िर: कुशलं चान्वपृच्छत्‌,संजय बोला--भूपाल! आपको नमस्कार है। नरदेव! मैं संजय हूँ और पाण्डवोंके पास जाकर लौटा हूँ। उदारचित्त पाण्डुपुत्र युधिष्ठिरे आपको प्रणाम करके आपकी कुशल पूछी है

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca— sañjayo ’haṃ bhūmipate namas te prāpto ’smi gatvā naradeva pāṇḍavān | abhivādya tvāṃ pāṇḍuputro manasvī yudhiṣṭhiraḥ kuśalaṃ cānvapṛcchat ||

Translation

సంజయుడు అన్నాడు—భూపాలా, మీకు నమస్కారం. నరదేవా, నేను సంజయుడను; పాండవుల వద్దకు వెళ్లి ఇప్పుడు తిరిగి వచ్చాను. మహామనస్కుడైన పాండుపుత్రుడు యుధిష్ఠిరుడు మీకు ప్రణామం చేసి మీ కుశలాన్ని విచారించాడు.
