त्वमिमं पुण्डरीकाक्षमप्रधृष्यं दुरासदम् । पापै: सहायै: संहत्य निग्रहीतुं किलेच्छसि,'सुनता हूँ, तू अपने पापी सहायकोंसे मिलकर इन दुर्धर्ष एवं दुर्जय वीर कमलनयन श्रीकृष्णको कैद करना चाहता है
tvam imaṃ puṇḍarīkākṣam apradhṛṣyaṃ durāsadam | pāpaiḥ sahāyaiḥ saṃhatya nigrahītuṃ kilecchasi ||
వైశంపాయనుడు అన్నాడు— వింటున్నాను; నీవు పాపి సహాయకులతో కలిసి ఈ పద్మనేత్రుడైన, అప్రధర్ష్యుడైన, దురాసదుడైన శ్రీకృష్ణుని పట్టుకొని నిర్బంధించాలనుకుంటున్నావు.
