अष्टादशपुराणानां श्रवणाद् यत् फलं भवेत् | तत् फलं समवाप्रोति वैष्णवो नात्र संशय:,अठारह पुराणोंके सुननेसे जो फल होता है वह सारा फल वैष्णव पुरुषको अकेले महाभारतके श्रवणसे मिल जाता है, इसमें संशय नहीं है
aṣṭādaśa-purāṇānāṃ śravaṇād yat phalaṃ bhavet | tat phalaṃ samavāpnoti vaiṣṇavo nātra saṃśayaḥ ||
పద్దెనిమిది పురాణాలను శ్రవణం చేసిన ఫలితం ఏదైతే ఉంటుందో, అదే ఫలితం వైష్ణవుడు కేవలం మహాభారత శ్రవణం ద్వారానే సంపూర్ణంగా పొందుతాడు—ఇందులో సందేహం లేదు.
