प्रतिपर्वसमाप्तौ तु पुस्तकं वै विचक्षण: । सुवर्णेन च संयुक्त वाचकाय निवेदयेत्‌

Transliteration

pratiparvasamāptau tu pustakaṃ vai vicakṣaṇaḥ | suvarṇena ca saṃyuktaṃ vācakāya nivedayet, pṛthvīnātha |

Translation

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను— ప్రతి పర్వం ముగిసినప్పుడు వివేకవంతుడు స్వర్ణంతో కూడిన గ్రంథాన్ని వాచకునికి సమర్పించాలి. ఓ భూమినాథా! శ్రోత దరిద్రుడైనా సగం దక్షిణతో గోదానం తప్పక చేయాలి.
