వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—హరివంశ పఠనం సమాప్తమైన తరువాత వెయ్యి మంది బ్రాహ్మణులకు భోజనం పెట్టి, స్వర్ణ-నిష్కముతో కూడిన ఒక గోవును బ్రాహ్మణునికి దానముగా సమర్పించవలెను. ఇది పుణ్యప్రదమైన దానధర్మము; పవిత్ర విద్యకు గౌరవమును, బ్రాహ్మణసమాజ పోషణను కలిగించును.
