अपूपैश्नैव पूपैश्न मोदकैश्व समन्वितम् । सभापर्वणि राजेन्द्र हविष्यं भोजयेद् द्विजान्
Transliteration
apūpaiśnaiva pūpaiśna modakaiś ca samanvitam | sabhāparvaṇi rājendra haviṣyaṃ bhojayed dvijān ||
Translation
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను— రాజేంద్రా! సభాపర్వ సందర్భంలో అపూపాలు, పూపాలు, మోదకాలు కలిగిన హవిష్యాన్ని (శుద్ధ నైవేద్యాన్ని) ద్విజ బ్రాహ్మణులకు భోజనంగా సమర్పించాలి.
