हन्त यत् ते प्रवक्ष्यामि तच्छुणुष्व समाहित: । ऋषीणां देवतानां च सम्भवं वसुधातले
Transliteration
hanta yat te pravakṣyāmi tac chṛṇuṣva samāhitaḥ | ṛṣīṇāṃ devatānāṃ ca sambhavaṃ vasudhātale ||
Translation
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—రా, ఏకాగ్రచిత్తంతో విను; ఇప్పుడు ఈ భూతలంపై ఋషులూ దేవతలూ ఎలా ప్రాదుర్భవించారో, వారి ఉద్భవవృత్తాంతాన్ని నేను స్పష్టంగా, సదభిప్రాయంతో వివరిస్తాను.
