वैशम्पायन उवाच शृणु राजन् विधिमिमं फलं यच्चापि भारतात् | श्रुताद् भवति राजेन्द्र यत् त्वं मामनुपृच्छसि
vaiśampāyana uvāca: śṛṇu rājan vidhim imaṁ phalaṁ yac cāpi bhāratāt | śrutād bhavati rājendra yat tvaṁ mām anupṛcchasi ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—ఓ రాజా, వినుము; భారతాన్ని శ్రవణం చేయు విధానమును, అలాగే దాన్ని వినుటవలన కలుగు ఫలమును—నీవు నన్ను అడిగినదే—నేను వివరించుచున్నాను.
