तृतीयं पारणं प्राप्प द्वादशाहफलं लभेत् । वसत्यमरसंकाशो वर्षाण्ययुतशो दिवि
tṛtīyaṃ pāraṇaṃ prāpya dvādaśāhaphalaṃ labhet | vasaty amarasaṅkāśo varṣāṇy ayutaśo divi ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను— మూడవ పారణం పూర్తిచేసినవాడు ద్వాదశాహ యజ్ఞఫలంతో సమానమైన పుణ్యాన్ని పొందుతాడు. అమరులవలె ప్రకాశిస్తూ స్వర్గలోకంలో అయుత (పదివేలల) సంవత్సరాలు నివసిస్తాడు.
