तेषां श्राद्धानि देयानि श्रुत्वा भारत भारतम्‌ । ब्राह्मणेभ्यो यथाशक्त्या भक्‍त्या च भरतर्षभ

Transliteration

teṣāṃ śrāddhāni deyāni śrutvā bhārata bhāratam | brāhmaṇebhyo yathāśaktyā bhaktyā ca bharatarṣabha ||

Translation

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—ఓ భరతవంశజా! ఈ భారతకథను వినిన తరువాత, వారికై శ్రాద్ధకర్మలు చేయవలెను; ఓ భరతశ్రేష్ఠా, తన సామర్థ్యమునుబట్టి బ్రాహ్మణులకు భక్తితో దానం చేయవలెను।
