Impermanence, Svabhāva, and Śuka’s Resolve for Yoga

मुहूर्तमुष्यतां तावद्‌ यावदेवं विचिन्तये । बाढमित्येव कृत्वा च तूष्णीं गन्धर्व आस्थित:,महाराज! इन प्रश्नोंको सुनकर मैंने गन्धर्वशिरोमणि राजा विश्वावसुसे कहा--“राजन! आपने क्रमश: बड़े उत्तम प्रश्न उपस्थित किये हैं। आप अर्थके ज्ञाता हैं। थोड़ी देर ठहर जाइये, तबतक मैं आपके इन प्रश्नोंपर विचार कर लेता हूँ।' तब “बहुत अच्छा” कहकर गन्धर्वराज चुपचाप बैठे रहे

muhūrtam uṣyatāṁ tāvad yāvad evaṁ vicintaye | bāḍham ity eva kṛtvā ca tūṣṇīṁ gandharva āsthitaḥ ||

“నేను దీనిని సమ్యకంగా విచారించు వరకు క్షణమాత్రం ఆగుము.” అని చెప్పగా, “బాగుంది” అని గంధర్వుడు మౌనంగా కూర్చుండెను।
