वेदवादांस्तथा चित्रानृतूनां पर्ययांस्तथा । क्षयं संवत्सराणां च मासानां च क्षयं तथा
vedavādāṁs tathā citrān ṛtūnāṁ paryayāṁs tathā | kṣayaṁ saṁvatsarāṇāṁ ca māsānāṁ ca kṣayaṁ tathā ||
వేదాలలోని నానావిధమైన ఆశ్చర్యకర వచనాలను, ఋతువుల పరివర్తనాన్ని, అలాగే సంవత్సరాలు, నెలలు మొదలైన కాలం నిరంతరం క్షయమవుతున్న తీరును కూడా మననం చేయాలి. సమస్తమూ మారి క్షీణిస్తున్నదని చూచి, మనిషి స్థిరబుద్ధితో స్పష్టంగా తన కర్తవ్యాన్ని నిర్ణయించుకోవాలి.
