Inquiry into Śreyas, Dharma, and Karma
हारिद्रवर्णे रक्ते वा वर्तमानस्तु पार्थिव । तिर्यगेवानुपश्येत कर्मभिस्तामसैर्वृत:
hāridra-varṇe rakte vā vartamānas tu pārthiva | tiryag evānupaśyet karmabhis tāmasair vṛtaḥ ||
యుధిష్ఠిరుడు అన్నాడు—పార్థివా! పసుపు వర్ణమున్న దైవసృష్టిలో గానీ, ఎరుపు వర్ణమున్న అనుగ్రహసృష్టిలో గానీ ఉన్న జీవి కూడా, తామస కర్మలతో ఆవరించబడితే, తిర్యగ్యోనిని దర్శించగలడు—అంటే అందులో ప్రవేశించగలడు।
