शुक्ल: शुक्लाभिजातीय: साध्यो नावर्ततेडनघ । तिर्यग्गतेश्व निर्मुक्तो निरयाच्च पितामह
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |
śuklaḥ śuklābhijātīyaḥ sādhyo nāvartate 'nagha |
tiryaggateṣv anirmukto nirayāc ca pitāmaha ||
యుధిష్ఠిరుడు అన్నాడు—నిష్పాప పితామహా! అతడు ‘శుక్లుడు’—శుద్ధ వంశంలో జన్మించి స్వభావతః శుద్ధుడై ఉన్నాడు. అతడు నిజంగా సాధ్యదేవతే అనిపిస్తోంది; అందుకే మళ్లీ లోకసంసారానికి తిరిగి రాడు. అతడు పశు-పక్షి యోనుల నుండీ, నరకం నుండీ కూడా విముక్తుడయ్యాడు, పితామహా।
