ऋषयस्तपसा वेदानध्यैषन्त दिवानिशम् । अनादिनिधना विद्या वागुत्सृष्टा स्वयम्भुवा
ṛṣayas tapasā vedān adhyaiṣanta divāniśam | anādinidhanā vidyā vāg utsṛṣṭā svayambhuvā |
తపశక్తితో సమర్థులైన ఋషులు పగలు-రాత్రి వేదాలను అధ్యయనం చేసేవారు. ఆది-అంతములేని ఆ వైదిక విద్య స్వయంభూ బ్రహ్మదేవునిచే పవిత్ర వాక్కుగా మొదటిసారి ఉచ్చరింపబడింది.
