बद्ध: पाशैश्ष्युत: स्थानाद्‌ द्विषतां वशमागतः । श्रिया विहीन: प्रह्माद शोचितव्ये न शोचसि

Transliteration

baddhaḥ pāśaiḥ śyutaḥ sthānād dviṣatāṁ vaśam āgataḥ | śriyā vihīnaḥ pramādāt śocitavye na śocasi ||

Translation

భీష్ముడు అన్నాడు—నీవు పాశాలతో బంధింపబడి, నీ యథాస్థానమునుండి పడిపోయి, శత్రువుల వశమునకు వచ్చితివి. నీ స్వప్రమాదమువల్ల శ్రీ (సంపద) కోల్పోయి, శోచనీయ స్థితిలో ఉన్నప్పటికీ నీవు శోకించుటలేదు.
