Adhyāya 199: Karma–Jñāna Causality and the Nirguṇa Brahman

Manu’s Instruction

मा वा भूत्‌ सहभोज्यं नौ मदीयं फलमाप्रुहि । प्रतीच्छ मत्कृतं धर्म यदि ते मय्यनुग्रह:,अथवा यदि आपकी इच्छा न हो तो हमें साथ रहकर कर्मफल भोगनेकी आवश्यकता नहीं है। उस अवस्थामें मैं यही प्रार्थना करूँगा कि यदि आपका मुझपर अनुग्रह हो तो आप ही मेरे शुभकर्मोंका पूरा-पूरा फल ग्रहण कर लें। मैंने जो कुछ भी धर्म किया है, वह सब आप स्वीकार कर लें

mā vā bhūt sahabhojyaṃ nau madīyaṃ phalam āpruhi | pratīccha matkṛtaṃ dharma yadi te mayy anugrahaḥ ||

“అయితే మనం సహభోగులుగా కలిసి కర్మఫలాన్ని అనుభవించాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. నాపై నీ అనుగ్రహం ఉంటే, నా ఫలాన్ని పూర్తిగా నీవే స్వీకరించు. నేను చేసిన ధర్మకర్మల పుణ్యమంతా నీవే గ్రహించు.”
