स चाद्य दिवस: पुण्यो हतिथिश्चायमागतः । संकल्पितं चैव धनं कि विचार्यमत: परम्
sa cādya divasaḥ puṇyo hatithiścāyam āgataḥ | saṅkalpitaṃ caiva dhanaṃ ki vicāryamataḥ param ||
భీష్ముడు పలికెను—‘ఈ రోజు పుణ్యదినం; తగిన తిథి కూడా వచ్చింది. దానార్థం ధనాన్ని సంకల్పించడమూ అయింది; ఇక దీనికంటే మరేమి ఆలోచించాలి?’
