उस समय मूसलाधार पानी बरस रहा था। बहेलिया शीतसे पीड़ित हो अचेत सा हो गया और व्याकुल हृदयसे सारे वनमें भटकने लगा
tadā muṣaladhāraṃ jalaṃ varṣati sma | śītapīḍito vyādhaḥ prāyaśo mūrcchita iva abhavat, vyākulahṛdayaḥ sarvaṃ vanaṃ paribhraman babhūva |
ఆ సమయంలో ముసలధార వర్షం కురుస్తోంది. చలితో బాధపడిన వేటగాడు దాదాపు స్పృహతప్పినవాడై, వ్యాకుల హృదయంతో అంతటా అరణ్యంలో తిరుగసాగాడు.
