Protection of the Refuge-Seeker: Opening of the Kapota Narrative
प्रहरिष्यन् प्रियं ब्रूयात् प्रहत्यैव प्रियोत्तरम् । असिनापि शिरश्छित्त्वा शोचेत च रुदेत च
praharīṣyan priyaṁ brūyāt prahatyaiva priyottaram | asināpi śiraś chittvā śocet ca rudet ca |
భీష్ముడు బోధించాడు—ప్రహరించబోయే వేళ కూడా మృదువైన, ప్రియమైన మాటలే పలకాలి; ప్రహరించిన తరువాత కూడా ప్రియవాక్యంతోనే స్పందించాలి. ఖడ్గంతో శత్రువు శిరస్సు ఛేదించినా అతని ప్రాణనష్టానికి శోకించి కన్నీరు పెట్టాలి.
