संधातव्यं बुधैर्नित्यं व्यवस्य च हितार्थिभि: । अमिन्रैरपि संधेयं प्राणा रक्ष्या हि भारत

Transliteration

sandhātavyaṁ budhair nityaṁ vyavasya ca hitārthibhiḥ | amitrair api sandheyaṁ prāṇā rakṣyā hi bhārata ||

Translation

భారతా! హితాన్ని కోరే బుద్ధిమంతులు నిర్ణయంతో నిత్యం సంధి చేయాలి; అవసరం వచ్చినప్పుడు శత్రువులతో కూడ సంధి చేయవలెను—ఎందుకంటే ప్రాణరక్షణ నిత్య కర్తవ్యమే।
