मेधावी धारणायुक्तो यथान्यायोपपादक: । दान्त: सदा प्रियाभाषी क्षमावांक्ष विपर्यये

Transliteration

medhāvī dhāraṇāyukto yathānyāyopapādakaḥ | dāntaḥ sadā priyābhāṣī kṣamāvāṁś ca viparyaye ||

Translation

వ్యక్తి మేధావి, మనస్సు స్థైర్యంతో యుక్తుడు, ధర్మానుసారంగా ఆలోచించి కార్యం చేయగలవాడు, ఇంద్రియనిగ్రహం కలవాడు, ఎల్లప్పుడూ మృదువుగా ప్రియంగా మాట్లాడేవాడు; విరోధం లేదా ప్రేరణ ఎదురైనా క్షమాశీలుడై ఉండాలి.
