Sañjaya uvāca — Ācārya, śīghraṃ kalaśaṃ jalapūrṇaṃ samānaya.

సంజయుడు అన్నాడు—“ఆచార్యా, త్వరగా నీటితో నిండిన కలశాన్ని తీసుకురండి।” ద్రోణపుత్రుని మనస్సును స్థిరపరచే మాటలు విని కురురాజు దుర్యోధనుడు కృపాచార్యునితో ఇలా అన్నాడు।
