Even amid war, rightful rule depends on honoring one’s kin and treating the populace with due respect; social stability is sustained through recognition, proper reception, and ethical governance—not coercion alone.

Sañjaya reports a situation of restored or maintained order: relatives have been appropriately honored, and the general populace has been duly received and made compliant, indicating disciplined administration within the war context.
