Śalya’s Consecration as Senāpati and Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel to Yudhiṣṭhira (शल्यस्य सेनापत्यभिषेकः)
दुर्योधनवच: श्रुत्वा शल्यो मद्राधिपस्तदा । उवाच वाक्यं वाक्यज्ञो राजानं राजसंनिधौ,उस समय वचनके रहस्यको जाननेवाले मद्रदेशके स्वामी राजा शल्य दुर्योधनके वचन सुनकर समस्त राजाओं के सम्मुख राजा दुर्योधनसे यह वचन बोले
duryodhanavacaḥ śrutvā śalyo madrādhipas tadā | uvāca vākyaṃ vākyajño rājānaṃ rājasaṃnidhau ||
సంజయుడు పలికెను—దుర్యోధనుని మాటలు విని, వాక్యార్థరహస్యాన్ని గ్రహించగల మద్రాధిపతి శల్యుడు, సమస్త రాజుల సమక్షంలో రాజు దుర్యోధనునితో ఇలా పలికెను।
